Descripción
The Vikings seem to have sailed long before other peoples. In their eagerness to find trading partners and places to establish colonies, the Viking drakkars, with their fearsome dragon-shaped figureheads, ventured far from their beloved Norway, claiming Iceland and Greenland and reaching America long before Christopher Columbus. In this module we present three genuine stories that their people wrote in that distant time: stories of kings, battles, and deeds of seafaring. They are the stories that the ancient skalds told about King Harald, Erik the Red, and Leif Eriksson. Rewards Everyone who completes all the steps of the program will receive a badge.
